Everton are reportedly leading the chase to sign Sweden international winger Emil Forsberg this summer, according to footylatest.
The Premier League side, who currently sit 11th in the English top-flight standings after drawing 1-1 against Southampton at the weekend, are interested in landing the RB Leipzig winger once the 2015-16 campaign has drawn to a close.
The 24-year-old; who has 15 international caps for his country and is expected to feature for Sweden at Euro 2016 later this year in France, has scored six goals and provided seven assists in 29 appearances in all competitions for the 2. Bundesliga outfit.
Forsberg, who is also attracting interest from fierce Merseyside rivals Liverpool this summer, is wanted by Toffees boss Roberto Martinez ahead of the 2016-17 Premier League term.
The report suggests that Everton are weighing up a £14m raid for the Leipzig star, although the winger’s valuation could soar should he stand out at the UEFA European Championships come mid-June.
