Everton are reportedly ready to allow international midfielders Darron Gibson and Aiden McGeady to leave the club on loan in January.

The Premier League side, who sit 11th in the current standings following their 1-1 draw with Tottenham at the weekend, are willing to offload the Republic of Ireland duo this month after both players have failed to gain much first-team action this campaign.

Gibson, 28, who joined the Toffees from Manchester United for a reported £500,000 back in January 2012, has played just 38 minutes of league football this season at Goodison Park.

Meanwhile McGeady, 29, who was sold by Celtic for £9.5m to Spartak Moscow back in 2010, has failed to make a single Premier League appearances under manager Roberto Martinez this term.
