Everton are reportedly closing in on a £11m deal for England Under-20 international starlet Ademola Lookman, according to the Independent.

The Premier League side, who defeated Arsenal 2-1 at Goodison Park on Tuesday night at Goodison Park, have been continually linked with a move for the Charlton Athletic winger ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window.

The 19-year-old, who has appeared three times for England’s Under-20 side, has scored six goals and provided one assist in 22 appearances in all competitions for the League One outfit so far this season.

Lookman, who was playing non-league football for Waterloo FC as recently as 2014, is wanted by Toffees boss Ronald Koeman in the New Year following the news that fellow winger Yannick Bolasie’s knee ligament injury is set to rule him out for the remainder of the 2016-17 campaign.

However, the report suggests that Charlton want Lookman back at The Valley for the second-half of the season.
