Everton have endured a terrible run of results at a terrible time in the season.

The Toffees were in the running to break into the Champions League places but injuries permeating through their squad, as well as a run of two defeats and two draws in their last four games, means they trail fourth position by seven points.

While they do hold a game in hand over their top-four rivals, it does seem like an opportunity missed for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

While it is likely the Champions League will allude the Merseyside Blues, it has without doubt been a massive improvement on last season’s 12th placed position.

Everton bolstered their squad with the arrivals of James Rodriguez, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Allan, Ben Godfrey and Niels Nkounkou, but they could be set to enter the market once more this summer.

According to Gazetta dello Sport Ancelotti’s side could be set to free up some funds through the sale of forgotten man Moise Kean.

Kean has had an impressive spell at PSG.

The 21-year-old Italian was signed by Marco Silva for £25.1 million in 2019, however, the young forward fell out of favour with both the Portuguese manager and Ancelotti.

Paris Saint-Germain has proven to be a great move for Kean, who has hammered home 12 goals in 22 appearances for the reigning French champions.

However, although he is performing well for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, it appears Juventus have expressed a firm interest in bring Kean back to Turin.

According to Gazetta dello Sport, The Toffees have slapped a price tag of £43.5 million on the young forward, but the Italian champions may also tempt Everton by offering French midfielder Adrien Rabiot or Turkish defender Merih Demiral as part of a deal.

Juve boss Andrea Pirlo is keen on downsizing his squad to raise funds and clear their wage bill so Rabiot and Demiral could be worthwhile sacrifices to bring Kean back to Serie A.
