Everton have been linked with a £9m bid for Diego Falcinelli.

According to a report The Sun the Sassuolo striker could be on his way to Goodison Park in a cut price deal.

Falcinelli is currently on loan at relegation threatened Crotone where he has netted an impressive 12 goals from 32 matches. Crotone are five points short of safety with three matches left to play having scored just 30 goals in 35 matches.

The 25-year-old has been sent out on a number of loan deals with Sassuolo likely to cash in this summer after the striker hit a scoring streak.

Everton are looking at a number of options to counter the expected loss of Romelu Lukaku with Ronald Koeman well aware of the percentage of goals that Falcinelli has contributed.

Eupen striker Henry Onyekuru is in a similar price range with Koeman hoping to tie up some early deals to counter the departure of the Lukaku.
