01 July 2014 - Fifa World Cup - Belgium v USA - Romelu Lukaku celebrates scoring his goal to put Belgium 2-0 up.

Lukaku netted his 12th international goal against Portugal in midweek.

The entire Lukaku family experienced an excellent Easter period, with both Romelu and younger brother Jordan starring for Belgium in midweek.

Everton star Romelu; who has scored a remarkable 25 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions so far this season for the Toffees, including six assists, played the full 90 minutes as the Belgium national team fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat to the hands of Portugal on Tuesday night.

The 22-year-old netted his 12th international goal for the Red Devils on his 43rd appearance, brilliantly heading the ball home from just a number of yards out following sibling Jordan’s pinpoint delivery from the left flank.

However Lukaku’s strike wasn’t enough to inspire a comeback from Belgium, who were trailing, and eventually lost 2-1, after earlier goals from ex-Manchester United duo Luis Nani and Cristiano Ronaldo.

It was an emotional night in Leiria, Portugal; with many tributes given to those who tragically lost their lives during last week’s terror attacks at Brussels airport in Belgium.
