Barcelona fans have continued to display their devastation at the news of Lionel Messi departing the club, almost a week after the news first broke.

The six-time Ballon d’Or winner was forced to leave the Catalan giants this week, despite both parties agreeing on a deal in principle, due to La Liga restrictions.

The Argentine has since joined Paris Saint-Germain where he will link up with Kylian Mbappe and former teammate, Neymar.

There was even more bad news for Barca, with new signing Sergio Aguero being ruled out for around two months due to a knee injury suffered in training, and it appears that the club could be about to lose another striker.

According to Inside Futbol, the La Liga side are happy to let Martin Braithwaite leave, amid speculation linking the Dane with a potential move to the Premier League.

Braithwaite was part of the Denmark squad at Euro 2020 and could soon be playing in the Premier League.

The former Middlesbrough man has reportedly emerged as a potential target for both West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur.

The 30-year-old is one of a number of players that Barca are willing to sell in an effort to correct their financial problems.

The Hammers are apparently looking for a striker to provide competition for places up front, having never really replaced Sebastien Haller who departed for Ajax in January.

Meanwhile, Tottenham, who are still intent on keeping hold of Harry Kane, are also rumoured to be interested in the Denmark international, as either a replacement or a partner to the England captain in Nuno Espirito Santo’s preferred two-striker system.

It is believed that West Ham have already tabled an offer for the player, however he is reportedly keen to wait and see whether Spurs make a bid before committing to talks with the Hammers.
