Tottenham Hotspur could be without defender Radu Dragusin when they visit London rivals Brentford on Sunday.

The Lilywhites have struggled with injuries at the back for much of the season so far, and manager Ange Postecoglou could now face another selection headache with Dragusin a doubt for the game against the Bees.

First choice central defenders Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven have missed much of the current campaign so far, leaving Postecoglou to use teenager Archie Gray as a makeshift centre-back.

With that in mind, it appears that Spurs are on the hunt for defensive reinforcements, but they have been rejected by a former Chelsea star.

According to Sky Sports Italy, AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori has rejected a proposed move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The report claims that the Englishman – who has been capped five times by the Three Lions – has chosen to stay in Italy after advanced talks over a possible return to London.

Tomori, 27, rose through Chelsea’s academy before breaking into the first team under Frank Lampard, and made a total of 27 appearances across all competitions at senior level.

Tomori has rejected a move to Tottenham

He departed Stamford Bridge to join Milan in 2021, initially on loan, and has since been a regular for Milan.

Across all competitions the defender has played more than 150 games for Milan, including 119 Serie A matches.

He is under contract with the Italian giants until the end of the 2026/27 campaign, and it appears that he is set to stay put beyond the end of the current transfer window after rejecting a move to Spurs.

It is claimed that Tomori was one of a number of potential targets that Tottenham were considering a move for, but it remains to be seen whether or not they will be able to finalise a move before Monday’s 11pm deadline.
