Antonio Conte has well and truly revived this Chelsea side having picked them up from the doldrums of last season, and some are beggining to think they may be on course for their second title in three years.

BBC Sport pundit Garth Crooks has heaped praise on Conte’s side after their win against his former side, Tottenham, on Saturday – ending the North Londoners unbeaten streak in the Premier League.

The former Stoke City forward, who picked the resurgent Victor Moses in his BBC Sport team of the week after his showing at the weekend, said whilst justifying his pick;

“It was a monumental victory for Chelsea on Saturday. Believe me, as a former Spurs player, I take no comfort in saying this, but Chelsea are starting to play like champions.”

The Blues appear totally transformed after a mixed start to their season was ended by the Italian’s system change, which has seen them excel in a 3-4-3 shape, having won seven on the bounce in the Premier League, conceding only once and taking top spot in doing so.
