With Tottenham set to call the national stadium home next season, as work on their new and improved home at White Hart Lane gathers pace, today was an ideal chance to put their poor record under the arch behind them.

The loss against Chelsea now makes it just two wins in eight attempts since the stadium re-opened as the ‘new’ Wembley in 2007, not a good omen for next year.
