‘Fed-up’ Paul Pogba is more desperate to leave Manchester United than ever and will push for a January move, according to the Sun

The news comes after the France international was snubbed for the captaincy during United scape through against Rochdale in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer chose 21-year-old Axel Tuanzebe with both Ashley Young and David de Gea not on the field.

21-year-old Axel Tuanzebe was picked for the armband above Paul Pogba.

World Cup winner Pogba, who has captained Manchester United in the past, also wasn’t on the list of five penalty takers, but it is not clear whether that was Ole’s decision or Pogba’s himself.

All was looking rosy at the start of the season, as Pogba kicked on from a successful pre-season tour and ran the game from midfield agains Chelsea during the Premier League opening weekend.

But since then the 26-year-old came under scrutiny for missing a penalty against Wolverhampton Wanderers and has missed games due to an ankle injury.

The Sun report that there is ‘no chance’ he will sign a new contract with the Red Devils and will push for a move come the new year.
