Five things we learned from Derby County v Leicester City

Bryson’s long awaited goal

The long-serving Rams midfielder scored his first goal for the club in nine months on Friday evening.

The goal itself showed the qualities that Bryson brings to the side. He picked the loose ball up and ran past Andy King before curling his left foot strike in the bottom corner of the net from just inside the penalty area.

The Scotsman has played over 200 times for Derby and has also made the most Championship appearances of any player currently in Steve McClaren’s side.

Bryson’s last goal came against Bristol City last April and the Derby fans were ecstatic to see their midfielder score again.
