Manchester City are lining up a move for former Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry as a replacement for Raheem Sterling, according to reports.

As per The Sun, Pep Guardiola is keen to add the Bayern Munich star to his squad if Sterling joins Chelsea.

The England international is expected to complete a move to the Blues in the coming days, and Guardiola will aim to move quickly in replacing the forward.

The report claims that the ex-Gunner, who made 18 appearances and scored one goal for the London side, is also a target for Manchester United.

The Red Devils could be forced to replace Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, with reports suggesting that the Portuguese is keen to leave the club and play Champions League football during the final stages of his career.

Gnabry has impressed since making the move to the Bundesliga in 2016, also spending time with both Hoffenheim and Werder Bremen.

The 26-year-old has scored 64 goals and provided 40 assists in 171 games for Bayern, winning the league title on four occasions and the Champions League in 2020.
