Manchester United are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Netherlands youth international starlet Daishawn Redan, according to the Daily Mail.

The Premier League side, who defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park on Wednesday night to record back-to-back top-flight victories, have been heavily linked with a move for the highly-rated Ajax centre forward.

The 15-year-old, who has impressively scored five goals in just six games for Holland’s Under-17 side, has arrived at the Red Devils’ training ground ahead of his proposed transfer.

Redan, who does not turn 16 until February, has been with Eredivisie giants Ajax since he was eight-years-old.

In his first campaign, he scored a remarkable 44 goals, before then repeating this sensational tally during the 2013-14 season for the Under-14 squad.

His prolific goalscoring rate for the Dutch side’s youth ranks has seen Ajax act swiftly and offer the forward a contract, but it seems Manchester United are set to snatch him from under their noses.

Redan could become the next Ajax youngster to be lured to Old Trafford in recent years, following in the footsteps of Millen Baars and Timothy Fosu Mensah, with the latter already making 17 first-team appearances for United since his arrival back in 2014.
