When the story broke a couple of months aho that Man City have been banned from European football’s premier club competition, it sent shocks around the football world.

With the vast success City have enjoyed since their takeover, they have never won the Champions League and it’s one of the main reasons manager Pep Guardiola was brought to the club.

And now, it’s looking very likely that the Manchester club will take no part in the Champions League for the next two seasons.

The talismanic striker, who has done so much for the club since his arrival in 2011, famously stated he would not lave until City lifted the Champions League.

Given the recent news and the fact the Argentina international’s deal ends in 2021, the fan favourite could exit the club this summer.
