Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping to lift the first trophy of his tenure at the club when they face Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday afternoon.

The Argentine has endured a difficult season so far, having taken charge at Stamford Bridge last summer.

The Blues currently sit 10th in the Premier League table and face an uphill battle to qualify for European competition next term.

Pochettino will be optimistic about his side’s chances of victory at Wembley, though, with Liverpool missing several key players including Alisson and Diogo Jota.

Off the pitch, it appears that one of Chelsea’s young stars is attracting interest from one of Europe’s biggest clubs.

As per The Evening Standard, centre-back Levi Colwill has emerged as a target for French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

The Englishman is a product of Chelsea’s youth academy and is enjoying a fine debut season in the senior squad.

Colwill is a target for French champions PSG

Colwill spent last season on loan at fellow Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion, but returned to London last summer and has made 29 appearances for Pochettino’s side across all competitions.

Despite PSG’s interest, the report claims that Colwill himself is happy in West London and that Chelsea will not entertain offers for the 20-year-old.

Liverpool, who Colwill could face on Sunday, are also said to be admirers of the England international, who made his senior international debut against Australia last year.

The report claims PSG are hopeful that Chelsea’s poor domestic performances could force the club into selling key players, and are therefore optimistic about their chances of landing Colwill.

Other academy graduates, including Conor Gallagher, Armando Broja and Trevoh Chalobah, could all be sold this summer in order to free up funds for new signings.

Colwill’s current contract with Chelsea is set to run until the end of the 2028/29 campaign.
