Garde praises Villa players after ending winless run

Aston Villa boss Remi Garde praised his players’ attitude after they ended a 19-match winless streak in the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

It was the Frenchman’s first victory since replacing Tim Sherwood in November, but the Villans still remain eight points from safety.
