Gareth Bale to wear adidas Football’s new X16 Blue Blast boots

adidas Football have today unveiled the X16 Blue Blast boot, the latest product in the Blue Blast collection, which will be worn by the likes of superstars Gareth Bale (Real Madrid), Thomas Muller (FC Bayern Munich) and Luis Suarez (FC Barcelona).

Bale, 27, who has scored seven goals and provided four assists in 16 appearances for the La Liga leaders so far this season, is on the verge of returning to training after stepping up his recovery from an ankle injury this week.

The brand’s latest release sees the X16 Blue Blast feature a striking blue and pink colourway, non stop grip finish to give players a new level of control, the purecut sock system and a sprintframe outsole to create stability during high-speed changes of direction.

It will be available in three models: Stadium, Cage (gum finish on the outsole) and Street (EVA mould sole)
