Durham are ready for Women Super League 2’s Spring Series to kick off in February – and goal machine Beth Hepple is one of the latest players to pledge her future to the Wildcats.

With 16 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions in 2016, the England Under-20 international is a key part of the team – and she marked Christmas by committing to Durham for the next season.

“Can’t wait to get back into it!” she declared on Twitter, adding in a statement via the club, “It’s great to be staying.

“I’ve really enjoyed the last few years and I love Durham.

“We want to go into 2017 and progress even further than we did this year and build on it.

“We’ve really gelled as a team and a squad this year and keeping that together is going to be really important so we can progress.”

Durham finished fourth in WSL2 in 2016, six points off the top of the table.
