Despite having spent a monumental £174m on new players over the summer, it seems Man City boss Pep Guardiola is not quite done.

According to reports from Spanish publication, AS, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss is interested in a move for Valencia full-back Jose Luis Gaya as he looks for a replacement for Aleksander Kolarov and Gael Clichy.

The 21-year-old, however, won’t come cheap, with AS claiming that the La Liga side will not let the defender go for anything less than €50m (£45m).

The Spain U21 international, a product of the Valencia academy, has made 85 first team appearances since making his debut in the Copa del Rey in 2012, aged just 17.

The report also states that the Sky Blues boss is still pursuing a deal for Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin as he looks to revolutionise his back line, having already spent just shy of £50m for England international John Stones over the summer.

The Sun claim that, considering how desperate Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is to hold onto the Spaniard, it may cost Guardiola upwards of £100m to land both full-backs.
