Manchester City travel to Premier League leaders Chelsea on Wednesday night (8pm kick-off) hoping to extend their unbeaten league run to nine games.

Pep Guardiola’s side drew 2-2 at Arsenal on Saturday to pick up a third straight draw, and it’s those run of results which have all but ended their faint title chances this season.

The Citizens are 11 points behind Antonio Conte’s men with just nine games of the campaign remaining, so it doesn’t look like former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss Guardiola will win the title in his first season at the Etihad.

Instead, it looks like Wednesday’s opponents will, despite losing 2-1 at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The Blues are seven points clear of second place Tottenham following their surprise loss at the weekend, but they remain very much the team to beat and the ones to stop between now and May.

Nonetheless, City will take great confidence from their recent run into Wednesday’s clash at Stamford Bridge, although Guardiola may make a few changes to his side having seen them twice lose the lead at the Emirates on Sunday.

Thus, here are THREE Man City players who deserve a chance against Chelsea on Wednesday…
