Having picked up just four points from their opening five games; Premier League champions Chelsea will be hoping to snatch only their second league win of the season when the Blues take on fourth-placed Arsenal on Saturday afternoon.
It will be the two clubs’ second meeting already this season after England winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored the only goal of the game back in August to help the Gunners lift the FA Community Shield at Wembley last month.
Despite being at the wrong end of the table in the English top-flight; it was Chelsea who fared better during the launch of the UEFA Champions League in midweek, defeating Maccabi Tel Aviv 4-0.
Meanwhile Arsenal slumped to a thoroughly disappointing 2-1 at Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday night.
One key battle on the pitch this weekend will be occupied down the flank; with Belgian ace Eden Hazard hoping to net his first goal this campaign, but only if he can beat Arsenal’s in-form full-back Hector Bellerin.
Here’s how their stats match-up so far this season…
