Stoke City entertain Manchester United in the first of Boxing Day’s knockout Premier League fixtures, with both sides desperate to get back to winning ways to put their respective sets of fans back into the festive spirit.

The Potters, who lost out 2-1 to Crystal Palace last weekend, will be hoping goalkeeper Jack Butland can conitnue his inspired form between the goalposts with an eighth clean sheet on Saturday.

Meanwhile opposite number David De Gea; who conceded twice in the shock 2-1 defeat at home to Norwich City last Saturday, will be looking to redeem himself under the much criticised manager Louis van Gaal.

With both shot stoppers likely to be busy in this feisty festive fixture, here is how Butland and De Gea match up so far this season…
