Twenty-Sixteen’s first instalment of Super Sunday sees defending Premier League champions Chelsea visit Crystal Palace this afternoon (13:30pm), with the hosts looking to complete their first-ever league double over the Blues.

Having won August’s clash 2-1 at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season; Palace winger Jason Puncheon might be hopeful of netting his first Premier League goal since mid-May at Selhurst Park today, although Alan Pardew’s side have never won their first Premier League game of a New Year (D2, L4).

Meanwhile the visitors; who are now under interim manager Guus Hiddink following Jose Mourinho’s dismissal before Christmas, will be confident Willian, who has arguably been the Blues’ stand out player in a thoroughly disappointing campaign so far, will create the spark in the centre of the park to help the champions kick-off 2016 with victory.

With both influential midfielders set to go head-to-head at Selhurst Park this afternoon, here is how Puncheon and Willian match up so far this term…
