In one of the eye-catching ties of the second round of the Capital One Cup, Preston North End host newly-promoted Premier League side Watford at Deepdale.

The League Cup has been a hotbed for upsets over the years – remember MK Don’s 4-0 win against Manchester United last season? This certainly has the potential to be a banana skin for the top-flight side.

Despite the pair failing to get on the scoresheet so far this term, the two teams are led by their talismanic strikers, with Garner, who had an unsuccessful spell with Tuesday night’s opposition, scoring 25 goals as North End secured promotion to the Championship last term, while Deeney netted 21 as the Hornets finished second.
