Manchester United host Southampton in the Premier League this weekend, and it is likely to see two former team-mates to come up against each other in a midfield battle.
The Red Devils’ Morgan Schneiderlin played alongside Saints’ Victor Wanyama for two seasons at St Mary’s, helping the club achieve their highest-ever Premier League finish of seventh last term, as well as ending the campaign with the second best defensive record in the top-flight.

The France international has, on some occasions, had to settle for a place on the substitutes’ bench with United, while Wanyama has also struggled at times without his old midfield partner, and has already been red-carded twice this season for the South Coast outfit.
