Leicester City have the chance to restore their five-point lead at the top of the Premier League table on Monday night when they take on relegation threatened Newcastle United at the King Power Stadium (20:00).

The Foxes, who are currently two points clear of Tottenham in second after Spurs’ 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday, will be hoping star man Riyad Mahrez can continue his rich vein of form after the Algerian ace netted the winner against Watford last time out.

Meanwhile the visiting Magpies, who appointed former Chelsea and Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez as their new manager last Friday after dismissing head coach Steve McClaren, have their fingers crossed that January addition Andros Townsend can shake off a hamstring problem in time for kick-off.
