This weekend’s first taste of 2016 Premier League football concludes this evening with a tantalizing encounter between Everton and Tottenham at Goodison Park (16:00pm).

Despite having failed to score in four of their last five meetings against Spurs; the hosts will be confident of halting that wretched run as they possess the English top-flight’s joint top goalscorer Romelu Lukaku, who has found the back of the net 15 times in 19 appearances this season.

Meanwhile Mauricio Pochettino’s visitors; who are unbeaten against the Toffees in their previous six encounters, will be hopeful their own star striker Harry Kane continues his fine form in front of goal, with the England international netting 12 goals in his last 12 games for Tottenham in all competitions.

With both prolific strikers set to go head-to-head at Goodison Park this evening, here is how Lukaku and Kane match up so far this campaign…
