Manchester City start another Champions League campaign, this time hoping to go further than the last-16 stage they reached last term.
It was champions Barcelona who knocked Manuel Pellegrini’s side out, but with the summer additions of Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne, the Etihad side now look and feel better equipped than ever to mount a real challenge.
And their European credentials will be put to the ultimate test when they welcome last year’s runners-up Juventus to Eastlands.
However, the Italian champions don’t look the side of last year having lost a host of stars over the summer.
One star that remains, for now, is midfielder Paul Pogba. The former Manchester United man is Juve’s headline player and will be up against fellow midfield machine Yaya Toure on Tuesday night.
Here’s how the pairs stats match-up so far this term…..
