Scott Hogan will pick up a £750,000 bonus for LEAVING Brentford when he completes his £15m transfer to West Ham.

That deal is expected to be completed this week with Hogan being left out of the Brentford side that lost at Wigan on Saturday.

According to a report in The Sun the former Rochdale striker had a clause inserted in his Brentford contract giving him a 5% cut on any transfer fee. Hogan will also get a signing on fee from West Ham while his weekly wage will probably exceed his monthly cheque from Brentford.

With Rochdale also due 20% it means that Brentford will pick up just over £11m from the deal for the striker who has scored 14 goals in 25 Championship appearances.

West Ham started bidding at £10m but after two weeks of negotiations it seems that Slaven Bilic is about to add some extra firepower to his side.

With Andy Carroll already outscoring Dimitri Payet and Hogan on the way Bilic will be confident that the troubles he endured towards the end of 2016 are over with as the Hammers look to return to the top half of the Premier League table.
