Hull City on the verge of capturing Manchester United starlet

Hull City are closing in on the signing of Premier League ace Nick Powell, according to the Daily Mail.

The Championship leaders; who currently sit one point above runners-up Middlesbrough, are expected to complete an initial loan deal for the Manchester United attacking midfielder, with a view to a permanent transfer this summer.

The 21-year-old, who is a former England Under-21 international, has played just 37 minutes of first-team football for the Red Devils this season.

Powell arrived at Old Trafford from League One Crewe Alexandra back in July 2012 in a deal worth up to £6m.
