The 35-year-old began the month with a goal in United’s 1-1 draw with Everton, before bagging another in a Europa League win over Zorya Luhansk.
A run of four goals in three games against Crystal Palace, West Brom and Sunderland, as well as an assist in a comeback win over Middlesbrough, rounded off a brilliant month for the Swede, who had faced questions as to whether or not he could make in the Premier League.
His performance in December takes Ibrahimovic to 18 goals in 28 appearances for the Red Devils, who now sit sixth in the league, ten shy of leaders Chelsea, who have a game in hand.
