The return of the Premier League is tantalisingly close now, but we’ve got international football to carry us through the strenuous wait, as Spain are the visitors at Wembley.

It may only be a friendly but a lot is hanging on this clash in terms of the future of the Three Lions. Interim manager, Gareth Southagate, looks set to be appointed the permanent manager and has one last chance to prove his worth to The FA by toppling the three time European Champions in London on Tuesday night.

Away from the managerial debacle, the national team is still on it’s knees after the horrors of Euro 2016, and a result against such a prestigious footballing side in recent years would do the young side no-end of good.

Providing a solid base for the array of talent available to Southgate to get forward and attack their continental counterparts is key, and the man in between the sticks, Joe Hart, will need to be on top form.

However, the Spaniards have their own world class shot-stopper in Man United’s David de Gea, but how do the two compare? Take a look…
