The Gunners stole three points from Southampton late on with a controversial last minute penalty on Saturday in what was a performance far from their best, however, they have the chance to move on quickly with the trip to Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Arsenal have not had the best of times in Europe in recent years, having not got passed the round of 16 since 2009/10, when they reached the quarter final.

Many Gooners fans will argue that they have felt foul of some harsh draws during that drab spell on the continent, however they will want to get this season’s campaign off to a good start in the French capital.

The North London side haven’t faced the French champions since the 1993/94 season, so will go into the game without any demons bogging them down, whilst still being boosted by the late additions of Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez.

Wenger will be desperate to get off to a winning start on Tuesday night, and here is the team that will deliver his wish…
