Manchester United were left frustrated after drawing 2-2 against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts went ahead on the south coast when Dominic Solanke netted his 17th Premier League goal of the season, before Bruno Fernandes drew the Red Devils level.

The Cherries were soon back in front, though, when Justin Kluivert scored, but Fernandes once again levelled things up, this time from the penalty spot.

United then survived a late penalty scare, with VAR overturning the referee’s on-field decision to award Bournemouth a spot-kick.

The result leaves Erik ten Hag’s side seventh in the Premier League table, with Newcastle United having leapfrogged them earlier in the day.

It has also now emerged that one of United’s defenders is a target for an Italian club.

Wan-Bissaka has attracted interest from Inter Milan

As reported by Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport via 90min, Inter Milan are interested in signing full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Englishman has recently returned from injury and established himself as a regular under Ten Hag, but the Serie A giants are said to be interested in the player.

Wan-Bissaka, 26, joined United from Crystal Palace in 2019 for a fee of £50 million, having been hugely impressive for the Eagles.

In total he has made more than 180 appearances for Man United across all competitions, featuring primarily at right-back but, more recently, being used as a makeshift left-back.

The report claims that Inter have identified the former Palace man as a potential replacement for Denzel Dumfries, who has been heavily linked with a move away from the club.

The Dutchman will soon enter into the final 12 months of his current contract, and the Italian side could therefore sell him this summer if an agreement over an extension can’t be reached.

Wan-Bissaka is contracted to United until 2025 after his current club triggered a 12-month extension clause earlier this year.
