England international goalkeeper Joe Hart is reportedly keen on a summer switch to Liverpool, according to the Mirror.
The Premier League side, who trail league leaders Chelsea by six points following Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Manchester City, are interested in landing the Citizens’ shot stopper come the end of the current 2016-17 campaign.
The 29-year-old, who has 68 international caps for his country and featured for the Three Lions at Euro 2016 last summer, has kept four clean sheets in 16 appearances in all competitions whilst on loan at Serie A club Torino so far this season.
Hart, who was shipped out to Italy back in August 2016 on a season-long loan after becoming out of favour under new City boss Pep Guardiola, is said to be eager to secure his future in the Premier League following his loan spell with Torino.
The report suggests the ‘keeper would jump at the chance to join Premier League rivals Liverpool, where Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has been unconvinced by fellow shot stoppers Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius this term.
