Man United manager, Jose Mourinho, has mocked his Liverpool counterpart, Jurgen Klopp’s touchline antics ahead of their mammoth clash at Anfield on Monday night.

The former Borussia Dortmund manager is well known for his rather overzealous and animated technical area behaviour, which has rubbed opposing managers up the wrong way in the past.

Speaking ahead of the game, when asked about Klopp’s gesticulation, the Portuguese said, “I’m on the touchline to try to coach,

“I’m not on the touchline to…” said the former Chelsea boss as he preceded to wave his arms above his head.

The pair will be meeting for the sixth time as managers, having come up against one and other on four occasions when they were at Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund respectively. Their most recent meeting was Klopp’s first win in English football, a 3-1 triumph at Stamford Bridge which piled further pressure on the Portuguese.

The German has the upper hand in terms of his record against the Red Devils boss, having won three of their meetings compared to Mourinho’s one, with just the one clash ending in a draw.
