Jude Bellingham’s former youth coach thinks Manchester United might be ‘a nice fit’ for the midfielder, according to the the Mirror

At just 16 years of age, Bellingham has been an absolute revelation at Birmingham City this season. The midfielder has got maturity beyond his years when on the football pitch.

So often, young players get eased into senior football, but due to his extreme talent that simply wasn’t the case with Bellingham, who has made an impressive 35 appearances this season.

United boss Solskjaer has a fantastic transfer record at United.

This has prompted a whole host of interested club from across Europe with the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United interested in the Birmingham youngster.

Sam Manoochehri, an ex-youth development coach at the Blues shared his thoughts on his former pupil’s next move.

He told the Mirror: “Man United, it might be a nice fit for Jude, with a rejuvenated team, talk of Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish going over there.

“But Dortmund would also suit, the recent profile of players that have come through that system, the likes of Jadon Sancho. Jude would fit that mould too.

“And look at what’s going on at Chelsea now. A lot of good young players in that team.

“However Jude has got to make sure that his next move, is to a club where he plays. If not, I don’t think there is any problem with him staying at Birmingham.”
