Jurgen Klopp must improve these 3 things at Liverpool in January

Liverpool’s main issues are defensive ones – there are big question marks over their capabilities at the back.

We’ve already acknowledged the need for a left-back, but Klopp may also feel that his central defensive options need strengthening.

Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren have been alright in the early stages of this season, but the Reds have already conceded more goals than anyone else in the top half.

Sometimes the attacking force may not fire, like in the defeat at Burnley, so it is integral that Liverpool have a defence capable of shutting out any team in the division – Klopp may need to bring a centre-half in to do just that.
