Juventus are weighing up a swoop for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku, according to calciomercato.

The Belgium international has scored 33 times in 73 appearances for the Red Devils since his £75million move from Everton in 2017.

However, the 25-year-old has struggled for form this season with just six goals to his name and was dropped by the recently sacked Jose Mourinho earlier in the campaign.

Despite his patchy form, the Serie A champions are reportedly interested in bringing the former Chelsea attacker to Turin.

Lukaku is Belgium’s all-time leading scorer with 45 goals in just 79 games.

The Italian giants are thought to be looking at potential targets to replace Mario Mandzukic, who turned 32 in May.

Lukaku was missing from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first match in charge – the 5-1 win at Cardiff City on Saturday – as he was on compassionate leave.
