Juventus could be interested in re-signing Spain international striker Alvaro Morata this summer, according to The Sun.
The Serie A champions, who sit four points clear of second placed Napoli at the top of the Italian top-flight standings, have been linked with luring the Chelsea forward back to Turin at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
The 25-year-old, who has 23 international caps for his country, has scored 14 goals and provided six assists in 43 appearances in all competitions for the Premier League side so far this season.
Morata, who arrived at Stamford Bridge back in July 2017 following his club-record £60m switch from La Liga giants Real Madrid, has struggled to cement a starting XI spot under manager Antonio Conte this term and been unable to fill the void left by last term’s top goalscorer Diego Costa.
The report suggests Juve could look to re-sign Morata this summer if The Blues negotiate a cut-price deal for the Spanish striker, who found the back of the net 27 times in 93 games for the Italians between 2014 and 2016.
He won two Serie A titles, two Coppa Italias and the Supercoppa Italiana during his time in Turin.
Morata is contracted at Stamford Bridge until June 2022, and is valued at £58.5m, by transfermarkt.
The Italian outfit have also been linked with bringing back Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba to the Juventus Stadium this summer.
