Chelsea travel north to face reigning champions Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Blues ended a five-match winless run in the competition by beating struggling Wolves 3-1 at Stamford Bridge on Monday evening, and head coach Enzo Maresca will be keen to see his side get the better of City on Saturday.

The Citizens – who Maresca previously worked for – will undoubtedly provide a tough test for the Blues, though, having beaten them comfortably on the opening weekend of the current campaign.

Off the pitch the end of the January transfer window is fast approaching, but a number of Chelsea stars are still being linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge.

Now, it appears that an Italian side are interested in two Chelsea stars.

According to CaughtOffside, Serie A giants Juventus are set to follow up their pursuit of Renato Veiga with a late move for left-back Ben Chilwell.

The Old Lady have been in talks over a move for Portugal international Veiga and are expected to sign the player on loan, but the report claims that they will then attempt to sign Chilwell.

Chilwell has played just once so far this season

The Englishman has played just once so far this season – against Barrow in the Carabao Cup – having fallen completely out of favour since the arrival of Enzo Maresca last summer.

Chelsea have set an asking price of £25 million for the defender, but the report claims that they could consider a fe of £20 million in order to sell the England international this month.

It is also claimed that personal terms are unlikely to be an issue as the player himself is keen to leave in order to secure more regular football.

The left-back joined the Blues from Leicester City in 2020 and has since made more than 100 appearances for the West London side across all competitions.

Chilwell’s current contract with Chelsea is set to run until the end of the 2026/27 season.
