Manchester City came from behind to beat rivals Manchester United 3-1 at The Etihad on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils went ahead when Marcus Rashford unleashed a stunning long range strike into the top corner of Ederson’s goal, and Erik ten Hag’s side went into the interval ahead.

Their lead didn’t last long in the second half, though, as England international Phil Foden netted a brace to put City in front, before Erling Haaland added a third late on.

United sit sixth in the Premier League table after the defeat, and Ten Hag’s side now look extremely unlikely to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

In the meantime, United have also been handed a blow in their pursuit of a former target.

As per TEAMtalk, Bayern Munich star Harry Kane is unlikely to leave the German club this summer despite interest from a number of Premier League sides.

Kane has been linked with a sensational return to the Premier League

The England captain departed Tottenham Hotspur last summer to move to Bavaria and, although he has been prolific in front of goal, Bayern are currently find themselves ten points behind Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen.

As well as United, both Chelsea and Spurs are also said to have shown an interest in Kane, 30, but the report claims that he is set to stay put beyond this summer’s transfer window.

During his time in London Kane netted 278 times across all competitions, becoming the highest scorer in the history of the club.

He is also England’s leading male goal scorer, and has scored 31 goals in 32 matches for Bayern since his move last summer.

Manchester United showed an interest in Kane prior to his move, but were ultimately unable to lure the striker to Old Trafford.
