Arsenal recorded a big 1-0 win at Brighton on Tuesday night to give them much needed back-to-back victories.

Prior to wins against the Seagulls and Chelsea on Boxing Day, the Gunners had gone seven league matches without a win.

They still sit 13th in the league but have pulled clear of the bottom-three and are now firmly looking at the teams above them.

As well as watching his former side secure victory in Sussex thanks to Alexandre Lacazette’s second half strike, Kevin Campbell also shared who he thinks would be a great addition to Arteta’s squad.

That man is Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma, who has impressed for Graham Potter’s side despite their lowly league position.

Bissouma is a key cog in the Brighton side.

The Mali international has played 65 top-flight matches since signing from Lille in 2018, and Campbell believes he could be a great partner for Thomas Partey (when he’s back fit) in the middle of the park.

“I think Arsenal could do with a player like him for sure,” the ex-Gunners striker told Amazon Prime Video Sport

“Thomas Partey needs a midfielder alongside him with energy and he would fit the bill, perfectly.”

As reported via talkSPORT), Bissouma has been linked with a move to the Emirates, but it’s also thought that champions Liverpool are monitoring the 24-year-old.
