International football has its place on the television screens around the world over the next two weeks, with important World Cup qualifiers to be held.

England are back in action after a turbulent few weeks, which has seen Sam Allardyce lose his job and Gareth Southgate take over on an interim basis. His first match is at Wembley against Malta on Saturday, followed by a trip to Slovenia on Tuesday night.

The fortnight break also gives Premier League managers a chance to take in some international football, and many may use the time to scout out potential January signings.

Jurgen Klopp may well be one of those looking to improve his Liverpool side and perhaps turn them into genuine title contenders.

The Reds have won five of their first seven matches, including their last four in a row, and are the league’s joint top-scorers alongside Manchester City.

However, Klopp may feel that he is still one or two players away from a sustained title challenge, so here are THREE players him and his team should be scouting over the next few weeks…
