Liverpool’s disastrous January isn’t quite over, sorry Jurgen!

Klopp’s side host Premier League leaders Chelsea at Anfield on Tuesday night (20:00), with The Reds looking to see off the first month of 2017 with just their second win.

Other than their FA Cup third round replay victory over League Two side Plymouth Argyle, Liverpool have been knocked out of the same competition by Wolverhampton Wanderers in the fourth round, slayed by Southampton in the EFL Cup semi-finals and have suffered a shock 3-2 home defeat to the hands of Swansea City to inflict a huge blow to their 2016-17 title bid.

But before the German can wave goodbye to a rotten January, Klopp must welcome Antonio Conte’s Blues to Merseyside tomorrow night, with Chelsea 10 points above the hosts in the top-flight table, and already eight points clear of second-placed Arsenal.

After losing 2-1 to Championship outfit Wolves in the FA Cup on Saturday, here is three players Klopp MUST drop if Liverpool have any chance of beating Chelsea…
