Klopp should drop these 3 Liverpool players against Chelsea

Connor Randall

This was Randall’s first game of the season, and unfortunately for the youngster, it showed.

Making way for the influential Philippe Coutinho at half-time against Wolves pretty much shows Klopp has no plans for Randall to feature against Chelsea on Tuesday night.

The 21-year-old was at fault for Wolves second strike at Anfield, being caught out of position before failing to catch eventual goalscorer Andreas Weimann as the visitors broke on the counter-attack.

Fellow full-back Nathaniel Clyne is a doubt to face Chelsea due to an abdominal muscle injury, but even if the England international misses out, Klopp has plenty of defensive cover for someone else to fill in right-back.

It was a good 45-minute run out for Randall, but he is no way near ready to face the likes of Eden Hazard tomorrow.
