Liverpool travel to Middlesbrough on Wednesday night looking to get back to winnings ways after a tricky few weeks in the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp’s Reds let slip a 3-1 lead to lose 4-3 at Bournemouth the weekend before last, and then they could only manage a 2-2 draw with struggling West Ham at Anfield on Sunday.

It means that Klopp’s men have now won just one of their last four league games, and go into Wednesday’s game at the Riverside Stadium six points adrift of league leaders Chelsea.

However, the Reds are still third in the Premier League table, four points clear of fifth place Tottenham, and remain the league’s top-scorers with 37 goals thus far, one more than the next best Arsenal.

They’ll find it tough going in the North West on Wednesday though, as Aitor Karanka’s Boro are the lowest conceders in the bottom half of the table, and they won their last home game 1-0 against Hull last week.

Nonetheless, Klopp will be expecting to get the win on Wednesday, although he could make a few changes to his side in a bid to get back to winning ways.

Thus, here are THREE players who deserve a chance against Boro…
