Koeman should drop these 3 Everton players against Premier League leaders Chelsea

Tom Davies

It is easy to forget that this term is Tom Davies’ breakthrough season with the Premier League club.

The 18-year-old, who is a Toffees youth graduate, has now racked up 23 appearances in all competitions this campaign under manager Koeman, including two senior goals.

However, alongside Gueye, fellow midfielder Davies was hauled off at half-time at West Ham last Saturday after failing to make an impact.

Davies lost possession far too easily and was fortunate to not help gift The Hammers an opening goal in the first period.

Replaced by the experienced Gareth Barry, Koeman could give the youngster a rest against Chelsea.
