Tim Krul could be on his way back to Newcastle- to go out on loan again.

According to a report in The Chronicle the keeper looks like having his loan deal with Ajax cut short.

Krul was sent on loan to Ajax to get match practise after being out injured for a year but has only managed five reserve team appearances since moving to Amsterdam.

Rafa Benitez is concerned that the keeper isn’t getting the action required to put him in contention for a first team place when he returns to Newcastle.

Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Dutch international keeper as Antonio Conte deals with a goalkeeping triangle centred around Asmir Begovic’s proposed move to Bournemouth.

Newcastle’s first choice keeper Karl Darlow has also been linked with Chelsea but Newcastle have no intention of selling their first choice keeper when they are heavily involved in the promotion race.
